GET READY TO RISK IT FOR THE BISCUIT AT THE 2022 BAMBADURO!  #WMTBC2022

BAMBAduro is back for 2022 with the finest of premium enduro trails for your racing pleasure. This is the second event in the series this season.

There will be the usual intermediate and hard categories. With the hard category eligible for enduro series points.

Weather Update from the Race Director:

POSTPONED TO SATURDAY THE 19TH. Entries open until 8pm Thursday the 17th.

We are tracking the weather forecast for the BAMBADuro this Saturday. Potentially, it's looking very wet which raises concerns for rider safety on the clay, and for trail preservation as well. We'll keep watching the weather forecast and make a call on Thursday about whether to post-pone the BAMBADuro to Saturday 19th Feb or run a shorter version this weekend. So hang in there, and we'll let you all know the details on Thursday. Thank you. The BAMBA Crew

COVID-19 vaccine passes required for everyone age 12+

Due to the Government's COVID-19 Protection Framework and its impact on outdoor events under the traffic light system, vaccine passes will be required for this event for everyone aged 12 and over. We will be checking vaccine passes at registration.

You will be required to wear a mask at all times at the registration area and race finish and prize giving. You will not not required to wear a mask while racing, so we suggest removing your mask on the start line before you set off, and putting it back on once you enter the race finish area.

If you are unable to follow these rules, the event team will ask you to leave the event.

You can read more about the traffic light system and outdoor events here: https://covid19.govt.nz/alert-levels-and-updates/covid-19-protection/

REGISTRATION AT THE STRATTON STREET SKILLS AREA

Wave 1 registration is from 7:30-8:15am and Wave 2 from 9.30-10.30am. Do not arrive before your assigned registration time.

RIDER BRIEFING AT THE STRATTON STREET SKILLS AREA

Wave 1 briefing is at 8:15am and Wave 2 at 10:45am. This is mandatory for all riders. If you’re not present for the briefing, we can’t let you race. The race starts in the Stratton street skills area shortly after your assigned briefing.

RACE FINISH AND PRIZEGIVING AT THE STRATTON STREET WOOLSHED

The race finish is in the carpark area north of the woolshed for wave 1. Wave 1 finish is at 11.30am and Wave 2 at 2.15pm. Anyone finishing Wave 1 early will be asked to remain on the northern side of the woolshed until after 11.30am while wave 2 begin their race.

Prizegiving takes place 15-30 minutes after your finish on the grass outside the woolshed. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 guidelines – prizegiving is for competitors only. No supporters or spectators at prizegiving.

We will only be awarding podiums at prizegiving. Spot prizes will be pre-allocated and handed out to the lucky winners at the race finish, rather than prizegiving.

There will be a BBQ and cold drinks available to purchase after each race - please bring cash for food and drink.
