Standing For Committee

To stand for committee, you must be a good member in good standing.

For the coming year, the current committee proposes that all committee members will be given a role. For more information

The club seeks nominations for the current roles:


  • President (Vacant - Dave Preece is stepping down)
  • Treasurer (Karin Mackie will stand again)
  • Secretary (Vacant - Russel Garlick is stepping down)


The role of Events Manager (currently held by John Whale) is being broken up into 3 roles.
  • DH Series Manager
  • Shuttle Day Coordinator(s)
  • Mt Vic Super D Coordinator
  • Trailer Manager (Vacant - John Whale stepping down, handles trailer scheduling and ensuring WoF and Rego is up to date)
  • Memberships Coordinator (Currently Mat Wright)
  • Newsletter Editor (New Role - currently done by Secretary)
  • Website Content Manager (New Role - currently done by Secretary)
  • New DH Track Champion (Vacant - Dave Preece is stepping down)
  • Bike Shop Liaison (New Role)

The following seats on Committee are filled from the projects

  • Miramar Track Project Rep
  • Brooklyn Trail Builders Rep

Note: The leaders of other trail projects are eligible for a seat on committee.
